The name Mavka comes from Ukrainian folklore - referring to a forest nymph known for her grace and lightness. The dress is worked seamlessly from joined hexagon motifs and their variations. These shape the garment while forming striking geometric lines and floral illusions throughout the fabric. The top of the dress features a straight silhouette, while the lower portion gradually widens into a breezy flared skirt. You can add more length with extra rows of motifs for a custom fit.
