Ice Bubble shawl was originally published in the UK magazine Crochet Essentials 2. This pattern has been tweaked a little, updated, and now uses U.S. crochet terminology. The gentle and subtle colorway of the yarn was my inspiration. It reminded me of sunny winter days with crystal-clear sparkling ice all around. The cotton fiber and a fast approaching summer made me think of round ice balls in cold drinks. To highlight the bubble idea and the rounded shape of their solid and lacy circles, this classic filet pattern contains little bobbles inside the lace elements.
