This is my favorite set-up method, and I use it for almost all of my sweaters and cowls worked in the round.

It is easy and quick to make, gives a perfectly polished start, and is also quite elastic!

There is a stitch which I think is the most underestimated in crochet - the Lover’s Knot (also known as the Love Knot or Solomon’s Knot). It exists mainly in one form: a kind of mesh created by elongated loops.

It is easy to achieve a nice fabric when using an average-weight yarn, but when it comes to lace or bulky yarns, the fabric can become less comfortable to wear, or the crocheting itself can turn into a small pain…

There is a stitch in the book that I would probably skip at first glance, because it doesn't look very bold or eye-catching. But in fact, it is extremely useful and often needed in projects: the Twisted Eyelet stitch from Chapter 1.

I don't usually use it on its own, but I love adding it as a gentle row of tiny, airy eyelets. It is very simple! Let’s try it!
