The Rimini coast is under snow! This is such a rare thing for both the Italian and Montenegrin Adriatic coasts!

Yesterday morning I jumped out of bed in the blink of an eye to enjoy it. ◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍ The snowflakes quickly turned into water, and I got wet almost immediately, but I did manage to take some photos!

After a sudden try of wearing both the In Three Ways shawl and cowl at once (and completely falling in love with how good it felt), I started combining my shawls and cowls more often.

Wearing two matching pieces gives me that volume I always wish for!

I made two Arca cowl samples for the pattern (in two and three colors, and in different sizes), and this is how I wear them now:

Sometimes I don’t have a matching shawl and cowl in the same stitch pattern, so I simply look for a good color match.

Here I am wearing Awakener and Linen Leaf, both quite thin on their own, but together they give enough warmth and volume.

I also find it much easier to wrap myself in two pieces because:

• they don’t slip down and stay nicely in place

• the textures kind of “catch” on each other, which helps everything lay beautifully

• the stitch patterns remain visible.
