Hello everyone!

My super-short trip to Montenegro, which had me under a lot of stress for the past several months, is finally over. I am back home with a much lighter heart, ready to return to my projects. Here is a quick update on what's coming soon.

Upcoming Releases

These are the first two patterns in my upcoming release schedule: a top featuring the lace pattern from the Limeade shawl, and a shawl in the same beautiful colorway: Flavia by Malabrigo Sock, a blend of grey and very soft lavender shades.

Neither of these designs features any fancy new stitches or techniques. They use filet crochet, linen stitch, single crochet, and chains.

From time to time, I like to step away from experimenting with new crochet techniques and let the simplest classic stitches create something calm and gentle.

But then let's get back to experimenting with new stitches and unusual yarns, like mohair and super bulky ones :)

That skein of Malabrigo Rasta is my personal challenge. I want to prove that it's possible to crochet a sweater from such a bulky yarn that is actually comfortable to wear: not stiff or overly thick, but soft, drapey, and casual.

A Pattern for Multicolor Yarns

Another design is coming soon as well. It was designed specifically for highly variegated yarns: speckled, melange, and multicolored colorways. If you have such yarns in your stash, this pattern is for you!

The sample is made as a cowl, but the pattern will also include the stitch instructions as a standalone stitch pattern, so you can use it for a scarf, blanket, or any project you like.

Just look at how complex these colorways are! I was almost desperate while trying to come up with ideas for them, but the final result is beyond my expectations! There are five different colorways here, and every single one pops and shines. ◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍
